Abstract

We describe the case of a 47 year old woman presenting with uterine leiomyosarcoma (LMS) associated with left iliac, inferior vena cava (IVC) left atrium invasion and pulmonary embolus. To our knowledge, only three other cases of intravenous uterine leiomyosarcomatosis have been described in the existing litetature and this is the second reported case of entity with associated intravasculer tumor embolism.
